HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

AC Contracting Inc. is committed to providing a safe work environment for all of its employees. Through adequate resource allocation, we are dedicated to the objective of eliminating the possibility of occupational injury or illness in our work environment. In order to achieve these objectives, we pledge to:

• Provide and maintain safe equipment, systems and tools.
• Provide thorough instruction, training and supervision, ensuring that each employee is aware of the potential hazards associated with their work and are able to carry out their duties safely.
• Remedy all safety concerns identified at the workplace.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections to ensure compliance with company health and safety policies.

All employees will be required to support this organization’s health and safety initiative.  Managers and Supervisors will be trained and held responsible for ensuring that the employees, under their supervision, adhere to all the health and safety regulations.  Every AC Contracting Inc. employee, while at work, shall:

• Take every  reasonable  precaution  to  protect  the  employee’s health and safety and that of other persons at or near the workplace.
• Cooperate with the employer and with the other employees to protect the employee’s own health and safety and that of other

persons at or near the workplace.

• Wear or use appropriate protective gear and equipment.
• Immediately report, to management, any hazardous condition, injury, accident, illness or impairment of any kind.
• Receive appropriate training prior to conducting any field work.
• Abide by all municipal, provincial and federal laws at all times.
• Under  no    circumstance   engage    in    any    confrontational discussions or activities of any kind.

AC Contracting Inc. encourages all their employees and representatives to play an active role in offering suggestions or ideas to improve the health and safety program.
